Prosecutors say she was the go-between for the brazen hit. Her lawyer said the condemned woman “thinks about Dan Markel every single day. She does think about his kids every single day.” Her legal eagle added that Magbanua hopes everyone involved in the twisted plot is “brought to justice.” From the start, cops named Charlie Adelson and his mother Donna as persons of interest in the Markel death plot. He has pleaded not guilty. Markel’s family told Fox News in a statement that Magbanua’s sentencing “marks another important step toward accountability and justice.” They wrote “Dan Markel was brutally murdered more than eight years ago.
